SMEs make long trek for banking
SMEs in the north-west are travelling the equivalent of 16 journeys from Manchester to visiting Santa in Lapland just to complete their banking every week, according to a study by Alliance & Leicester. A total of 18,000 miles are travelled by small firms altogether, which adds to expenses. Three million such trips are made every week.
